Amazonite was named for the area it is found, the Amazon River. This stone was worn by Amazon warriors and is considered a stone of courage, but it also represents serenity and peace. May this stone help you to find a happy medium in life! 
 
I utilize 90% upcycled materials to create my jewelry. This allows me to keep costs low and to reduce my environmental impact. This necklace was made from Amazonite, glass beads, and silver based hardware. This necklace was created using a soft soldering technique, a process where a low temperature alloy mixed with silver is heated at low temperatures to bond surfaces together.
